Rotarian Jason Kolaski participated in the 4th Annual CEO Sleepout, hosted by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ. Over 160 CEO's participated and raised over $200,00. In summarizing his experience, Jason said, "I had the totally wrong idea of who the homeless are. I had no idea that a lot of them had jobs. I was amazed at some of the art that was done by people that were homeless.
It was a real eye opener, as I heard stories of what happens in one of the locations for people that were no longer accepted at Siloam Mission or the Salvation Army. Not the things you ever hear in the news and when we walked through the Centre made me think that when I have a bad day, it's so far from being a bad day."
