Rotary Books Donated to Winnipeg Public Library

Thirteen Books about Rotary were donated to the Winnipeg Public Library. The books included 9 copies of "Rotary Club of Winnipeg - 100 years of Service" and 4 copies of the Rotary International book "A Century of Service - The Story of Rotary International". The books were presented to Rotarian Rick Walker who is Manager of Library Services, for the Winnipeg Public Library.
It was discovered some time ago that there were no books about Rotary in the Winnipeg Public Library system. As Rotarians, we felt that it was important that people know that the Rotary Club of Winnipeg was formed in 1910 and was the first Club formed outside of the United States. Therefore, "We are the Club that made Rotary International." (In the photo, from the left, are Frank Cosway (Public Relations), Rick Walker (Winnipeg Public Library) and Don Ross (President))
